The Children’s Museum is much more than a space for children to play. It is a community resource for programs and activities, all built around learning through play and providing access for all children and their caregivers. As a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, our mission is facilitated by the support of our staff, board, and volunteers, along with the generosity of individual and corporate donations.

Please help us prepare for our new home at Port Wonder. Here Comes the Sun is a vital campaign to support a galaxy of exciting programs, classes, camps and workshops in the Children’s Museum’s beautiful new home in Port Wonder on the Lake Charles lakefront. Your generous participation will enable us to deliver an exciting, educational curriculum of programs that engage kids in fun, interactive, hands-on activities that connect real-life and play experiences.
